In-Home Health Care workers and the people they serve depend on Medicaid for these services
Rep. Pete Aguilar recently held a roundtable with SEIU Local 2015 Members who provide in-home health care to seniors and people with disabilities in the Inland Empire to discuss how cuts to Medi-Cal made by Trump's Big Ugly Law could hurt them and the people they care for.
"In-home health care workers care for hundreds of thousands of seniors and people with disabilities, allowing people to live with independence and dignity in their own homes," said Rep. Pete Aguilar. "I heard directly from SEIU Local 2015 members who are in-home care workers, and the people they care for, about how Republican cuts to Medi-Cal in Trump's Big Ugly Law are putting lives in danger. Seniors and people with disabilities here in the Inland Empire could lose the ability to live in their own homes, participate in their communities and access the care they need to thrive. I'll keep fighting back against reckless attacks on health care and to protect this essential lifeline for Californians."
