Bourne Partners Expands London Team with Appointment of Joachim Sabbat as Vice President

LONDON - August 2026 - Bourne Partners, a healthcare-focused investment banking firm, is pleased to announce that Joachim Sabbat has joined the firm's London office as Vice President. Joachim brings more than 10 years of industry and corporate finance experience, with particular expertise across the life sciences services, pharma and biotech sectors.

Joachim joins Bourne Partners as the firm continues to expand its presence in the UK and European healthcare markets and strengthens its capabilities serving clients across the global life sciences ecosystem.

Prior to joining Bourne Partners, Joachim served as an Assistant Director in Deloitte's Life Sciences & Healthcare M&A practice. Earlier in his career, he worked at corporate finance boutiques focused on the life sciences and technology sectors before moving in-house to Abcam, where he held a strategic finance and corporate development role.

His transaction experience extends beyond traditional M&A and includes capital raises as well as clinical-stage licensing and partnership transactions, providing him with a broad perspective across the life sciences capital and strategic advisory landscape. He holds a BA in Economics and Politics and an MSc in Management Finance, both from the University of Durham.
