On 3 June 2026, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, met with H.E. Ms. Velislava Petrova-Chamova, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria, on the sidelines of the OECD Ministerial Council Meeting (MCM) in Paris. Both sides exchanged views on bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest, and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation between the two countries, particularly in people-to-people connectivity, exchanges of trade and business delegations, tourism, including medical and wellness tourism.

Both sides also exchanged views on their respective OECD accession processes and underscored the value of sharing experiences and best practices as accession candidates. They agreed that such exchanges would contribute to tangible progress in advancing their accession efforts. #TH2OECD
