Today, Firebird brings an advanced AI cluster online in Hrazdan, powered by Dell PowerRack featuring Dell PowerEdge servers and NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs.
Firebird's project is backed by a $500 million first-phase investment, with an already approved third expansion that will scale the platform to more than 400MW of AI infrastructure capacity, positioning the project among Europe's largest AI infrastructures and as one of the world's significant AI computing hubs."

Relationships matter
Dell and Firebird's relationship began last November, when Firebird announced that it would be using Dell PowerEdge high-performance AI servers and NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs to bring advanced AI computing to Armenia.
PowerEdge XE servers are purpose-built for demanding AI workloads, delivering the high-performance compute and acceleration needed for large-scale training, fine-tuning and inference.
Since then, Firebird and Dell have been deploying those systems in Hrazdan, standing up an AI cluster capable of supporting workloads that life sciences researchers, robotics engineers, space technology companies and more need.
Changing what's possible
The impact of AI infrastructure is ultimately measured by what it enables.
Firebird is targeting sectors where access to high-performance compute can accelerate innovation. Drug discovery, materials research, autonomous systems and satellite data processing are computationally intensive problems that have historically required either massive internal infrastructure or access to expensive hyperscale cloud providers.
An AI cluster like this changes that. The compute coming online in phase one of this project brings a fully operational, enterprise-grade sovereign AI environment closer to the researchers, developers and businesses doing the work - across Armenia and the region.
