36 Trinseo teams attained zero injuries/illnesses, spills and process safety incidents
Wayne, PA - DAY, January 10, 2025-- Trinseo (NYSE: TSE) a specialty material solutions provider, today recognized employees globally for outstanding Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) performance for 2024 - placing Trinseo's safety performance in the top tier of companies in the chemical industry.
In 2024, 36 Trinseo teams - encompassing 1901 individual recipients -earned the prestigious "Triple Zero Award," recognizing that their work groups had zero recordable injuries/illnesses (including employees and contractors), zero reportable spills and zero process safety incidents. Globally, 77 percent of eligible teams received Triple Zero recognition.
Trinseo believes in continuously improving EH&S performance with the goal to achieve zero injuries/illnesses, spills, and process safety incidents in all our facilities every year. EH&S and Responsible Care® are core values and strategic priorities for Trinseo. The Triple Zero Award program recognizes and appreciates the effort and discipline of manufacturing & recycling plant and lab teams that achieve incident-free operation over the calendar year.
There were many programs aimed at improving Trinseo's safe work culture in 2024. Noteworthy initiatives included eye/face exposure risk reduction, R&D safety network kick off, safety near miss sharing & learning improvement, Top 10 Program(s) on Risk and again sustained focus on improving safety awareness and behaviors through targeted programs such as Safety on Purpose, Office Safety and Safe Summer.
