Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund Announces New Round of Federal Endorsements, Backing 18 Candidates Across 8 States

NEW YORK - Today, Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund announced its latest round of federal endorsements: 18 gun safety champions in the U.S. House of Representatives, running for re-election across eight states. Next year, these advocates will lead a new gun sense majority in Congress that will pass a common-sense safety agenda and defeat deadly gun lobby priorities like a federal concealed carry mandate.

"The gun lobby has been busy buying congressional seats to rearm domestic abusers, shred our gun safety laws, and let weapons of war loose on our streets - and the best way to stop them is flipping the House and electing gun safety champions," said John Feinblatt, president of Everytown for Gun Safety. "The 18 gun safety champions we're endorsing today will provide a much-needed check on the gun lobby's deadly agenda, and Everytown is going all out this November to elect a gun sense majority in Congress."
