Attack in Australia

The Government of Brazil has learned, with deep concern, of today's attack in Sydney, Australia, during a Jewish celebration, in which at least 11 people died and 30 others were injured.

The Brazilian Government expresses its solidarity to the families of the victims, to the injured and to all others affected, as well as to the Australian people and Government. Brazil reaffirms its strong repudiation of all acts of terrorism and of any manifestations of antisemitism, hatred and religious intolerance.
