City Issues RFP for Community Violence Prevention Initiatives

The City of Greensboro's Community Safety Department requests proposals to strengthen community-led anti-violence efforts. Funding is provided through the Department of Justice's Bureau of Justice Assistance Community Violence, Intervention, and Prevention Initiative site-based grants.

Proposals must demonstrate how they fit into one or more of the following categories:

  • Group Violence Intervention and Interruption
  • Education and Skills Building
  • Community Cohesion & Engagement
  • Awareness/Outreach
  • Community Responses to Violence
  • Direct Intervention Activities
  • Restorative Justice
  • Healing/Mental Wellness
  • Reentry Services
  • Victim Services

Proposals are due by 5 pm on Wednesday, February 25. All applicants must attend an RFP workshop, which will be held virtually at 6 pm on Wednesday, February 4.
