Closure of Closure of Taylors Bridge Road between Union Church Road and Fleming Landing Road
Townsend - ; The Delaware Department of Transportation announces the closure of Taylors Bridge Road between Union Church Road and Fleming Landing Road starting on Monday, August 3rd through July of 2028 for the demolition and construction of a new bridge.
Detour- Motorists traveling southbound on Route 9 (Taylors Bridge Road) wanting to continue on Route 9 (Fleming Landing Road) will turn right onto Fieldsboro Road, continue and turn left onto US 13, continue and turn left onto Eagles Nest Landing Road, continue and turn left onto Paddock Road, and continue until reaching Route 9 (Fleming Landing Road).
Motorists traveling northbound on Route 9 (Fleming Landing Road) wanting to continue on Route 9 (Taylors Bridge Road) will turn left onto Paddock Road, continue and turn right onto Eagles Nest Landing Road, continue and turn right onto US 13, continue and turn right onto Fieldsboro Road, and continue until reaching Route 9 (Taylors Bridge Road).
