Law requires telecommunication providers to suspend services at the Federal Security Service request

The federal law introduces the obligation of telecommunication providers to suspend telecommunication services at the request of the Federal Security Service and its departments in cases specified by regulatory acts of the President of the Russian Federation.

Furthermore, telecommunication providers are released from liability for improper fulfilment of their obligations under a service agreement if such improper fulfilment is caused by the providers' compliance with requests from the Federal Security Service and its departments.
