Road Closure: Phase 1 – Stadium Drive Road Closure to begin April 28, 2026

Alabama Power will begin powerline work along Stadium Drive between South Railroad Street and 22nd Avenue. The road will be closed Tuesday April 28th and is expected to last until Wednesday April 29th or until the project is finished. A detour will be in effect routing traffic around the work. Dates and times are subject to change due to weather. During this time, delays should be expected, and travel times adjusted accordingly.
