Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin Meets with Kazakhstan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Kairat Umarov

On March 24, 2026, Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin met with Kazakhstan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Kairat Umarov.

The two sides noted that under the personal commitment and strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and President Kassym-Jomart K. Tokayev, China-Kazakhstan relations have achieved leapfrog development. Guided by the common understandings between the two heads of state, the two sides will deepen exchanges and cooperation, enhance mutual learning, continue to enrich the comprehensive cooperation between the two countries, and jointly build a China-Kazakhstan community with a shared future.

The two sides also exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, including the Eleventh Review Conference of the Parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and artificial intelligence.
