Kennametal Introduces New PCD Road Milling Pick Designed to Cut Downtime and Boost Performance at CONEXPO

PITTSBURGH, March 3, 2026 - Kennametal Inc. announced today the expansion of its comprehensive product line of tooling and wear protection solutions for construction applications with the introduction of the Road King Diamond™ 303R.

This non-rotating, rugged pick combines the strength and durability of polycrystalline diamond (PCD), delivering maximum road milling performance.

RKD303R features a carbide ring and bolster for abrasion protection in long wear-life applications, with hardfacing on the collar to safeguard the block, reducing downtime for change-outs. Paired with the reliability of our KPF 300-series block systems, RKD303R enhances machine operation and allows for a consistent cutting pattern and cutting depth over the entire tool life.

Customers will see the new RKD303R for the first time this week at CONEXPO 2026 in Las Vegas at Booth C-32742. It will be displayed alongside the entire groundbreaking Road King™ series of road milling picks that are specifically designed to maximize tool life and make change-outs both easy and efficient for milling machine operators.
