New Visual Editor in London

We are very happy to announce that Adina Renner will join the International desk as a visual editor based in London. Adina will report and create graphics and multimedia stories that help readers understand the world.

Adina joins us from the Swiss daily Neue Zürcher Zeitung, where she produced striking work on world events: an annotated drive down a Gaza street , an immersive visualization of how Switzerland's landscape could be transformed by climate change and an illustrated guide to removing hundreds of tons of earthquake debris . Her work combines strong news judgement, careful data reporting and visual experimentation across design, cartography and video.

At NZZ, she played a key role in coverage of the Israel-Gaza and Ukraine conflicts in a hybrid role bridging the international and graphics desks.

Adina will join a stellar team of reporters, including Josh Holder and Samuel Granados, led by Lauren Leatherby. She will work with counterparts in Video and Photo and with correspondents around the world, especially in Africa, Europe and the Middle East. Please welcome her!
