In this section, we will add releases information on Tanzu Platform for Cloud Foundry, Tanzu Data Solutions, and Tanzu Spring Essentials Products that are part of Tanzu Platform and Standalone solutions along with its release date and release notes. VMware Tanzu Data Solutions

VMware Tanzu Greenplum
VMware Greenplum 7.4.1 is a maintenance release that resolves several issues. Check Release Notes as well.

Server
Resolves the following security vulnerabilities:

• Resolves CVE-2023-5868 for aggregate functions where a text-type value was incorrectly interpreted as an unknown-type value (i.e., a zero-terminated string) at runtime. This could potentially lead to the disclosure of server memory following the text value.
• Resolves CVE-2025-1094 where Greenplum quoting APIs did not neutralize quoting syntax in text that fails encoding validation.

Cluster Management
Resolves the following security vulnerabilities with golang utilities:

• CVE-2024-45337
• CVE-2023-45288
• CVE-2024-45338
• CVE-2024-24786

Virtual

• Resolves postmaster service failure on large clusters with a high number of concurrent processes.
• Resolves the following security vulnerabilities with golang utilities:
  • CVE-2025-30204

VMware Tanzu
SKU Changes for VMware Tanzu Portfolio
End of Availability (EOA) Notification for select Tanzu Platform and Tanzu Data offerings effective May 4, 2025 - The Tanzu Division of Broadcom is announcing the following changes to the VMware Tanzu portfolio. Many of the capabilities utilized by our customers can be found within newly launched SKUs. Specific Program Documentations(SPDs) are included in this article.

VMware Tanzu Application Service (TAS)
Java Buildpack v4.76 is broken - Using the Java Buildpack Offline v4.76 results in build failure, your app staging fails with an error. Fixed version and error details are in this article.

Appsmanager not loading the metrics in UI - This is due to the request header data which is too long. Currently, that's set at around 8KB of data and our internal web server is rejecting the request. Check the article for more details and resolution.

VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid Integrated Edition (TKGI)
Add new Floating IPs (FIPs) to TKGi - There may be a situation where you'd like to expand the existing FIP Pool due to IP exhaustion or any other reason. Check the article for the steps.
