TEDCO Announces the Selection of Vendors for the Back-Office-in-a-Box Request for Proposals

Four companies were chosen to support the BRIDGE Program initiative

COLUMBIA, Md., (September 14, 2026) - TEDCO, Maryland's economic engine for technology companies, announces the selection of four companies to support the Business Resource Information, Development & Guidance Ecosystem (BRIDGE)'s Back-Office-in-a-Box initiative. The companies selected were among the applicants who answered the recent Request for Proposals (RFP).

"At TEDCO, we understand the entrepreneurial journey can be fraught with challenges and hurdles," said TEDCO CEO Troy LeMaile-Stovall. "Through the Back-Office-in-a-Box initiative, we hope to close the gaps, provide resources for underserved businesses and allow for the region's continued development as an innovation hub."

The Back-Office-in-a-Box program was designed to provide technical assistance to qualifying Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Individual (SEDI)-owned businesses and Very Small Businesses (VSBs), allowing them access to more resources and expertise needed to obtain funding.

"The firms chosen will create a 'box' of resources for eligible entities," said Kim Mozingo, vice president of Federal Programs, TEDCO. "With this offering, we will work to ensure businesses maintain accurate financial records, meet tax obligations and are more prepared for due diligence processes when seeking external capital. The services provided through the program are part of a broader and targeted Federal intervention aimed at improving the region."

The four selected companies include:

1. Ellis CPA, LLC
2. The Daimler Waterford Group
3. The W2 Group, LLC
4. Community Redevelopment Partners

"It was exciting to see the request for proposals result in a slew of high-quality candidates," said April Davis-Hurtt, lead advisor for BRIDGE, TEDCO. "While the competition was strong, we are hopeful that the four chosen vendors will help us to support the advancement of economic development across the region."

TEDCO's BRIDGE program was created as a three-year project that will support qualifying businesses with legal, accounting and financial advisory services. The project is supported, in whole or in part, by federal award number SSBCI-21034-0009 awarded to Maryland Technology Development Corporation (TEDCO) by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
