At a time when the real estate sector is undergoing far-reaching change, Groupe BPCE companies have invited all the professionals in this sector to meet them at the MIPIM, a must-go-to real estate trade fair running from March 9 to 13, 2026. This event provides an opportunity both to highlight the importance of the role played by Groupe BPCE in this sector, and to share the ambitions it pursues.
Real estate: a strategic priority for Groupe BPCE
As the source of financing for one out of every four real estate loans, with a market share of over 26%, and the leading private financier of social housing in France, Groupe BPCE, France's second-largest banking group, enjoys the status of a go-to player in real estate financing and services. Seeking to further strengthen its commitment to its customers and all players in the sector, Groupe BPCE has chosen to place real estate and housing at the very heart of its VISION 2030 project defining the key strategic priorities of the Group and its business lines to be pursued between now and 2030.
This commitment by Groupe BPCE is reflected in three priorities: offering more housing throughout France by helping real estate professionals deliver their projects; boosting French people's purchasing power in the real estate market with concrete and innovative solutions (zero-interest loans, adjustable-rate loans, hybrid loans); and finally, supporting energy-efficient renovation and adaptation of existing housing with the goal of granting more than €1 billion in financing to individual customers.
Synergy of expertise at the service of customers
To meet these challenges, all the expertise of Groupe BPCE's companies is being mobilized and promoted, particularly at the MIPIM trade fair. The Group is pursuing a single ambition: to support, with a responsible approach, all players in the sector (investors, developers, individuals, local authorities, and institutions) and to place at their service the full panoply of know-how developed by Groupe BPCE. This includes retail banking services with Banque Populaire, Caisse d'Epargne, and Palatine, financing solutions with Socfim, BPCE Lease, and Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking, advisory services with BPCE Solutions immobilières, investment with AEW, a subsidiary of Natixis Investment Managers, and insurance with Compagnie Européenne de Garanties et de Cautions (CEGC).
Fully aware of the many challenges facing the sector - housing supply at a standstill, decline in new construction, increasingly complex access to home ownership, and a significant mismatch between supply and demand - Groupe BPCE has adopted a resolutely proactive and pragmatic stance, by adapting its activities, staying the course, and acting in line with its ambitions.
