Announcement provides broader access to BNSF adjacent networks to the east and south

FORT WORTH, TEXAS - BNSF Railway and COFC Logistics today announced the Class I railroad and intermodal transportation solution provider will significantly expand COFC's network of service offerings, now reaching into the eastern portion of the United States and into Mexico.

The news allows COFC to deliver increased container availability to asset-light* Intermodal Marketing Companies (IMCs), enhancing its footprint across North America.

In addition to providing access into key Northeast and Southeast markets of the U.S., this service enhancement will provide entry into Monterrey, Mexico, in partnership with GMXT, (see map) offering greater flexibility, increased capacity and broader market reach for IMCs seeking scalable intermodal solutions.

"This expansion is about empowering IMCs with the tools they need to compete and grow," said COFC Logistics Vice President of Sales and Marketing Jonathan Mulch. "Our asset-light partners can now tap into a broader ecosystem with the confidence that COFC's service reliability and operational excellence will support their growth. By leveraging our strong relationships with these Class I railroads, we are uniquely positioned to offer seamless, cost-effective access to key domestic and cross-border markets."

"We are excited to expand the reach and capacity of our industry leading intermodal network to the IMC community, through these key additions to COFC Logistics' service offering," said BNSF Group Vice President of Consumer Products Jon Gabriel. "By opening and connecting a network across more of North America, we're not just adding lanes-we're adding opportunity to the supply chain."

"The addition of COFC to our service offerings enhances the ability to provide the growing market with capacity and experience to handle cargo, and we're ready to serve them with a top-of-class service to fulfill expectations," said GMXT Vice President of Intermodal Luis Hernandez.

The offering includes the addition of 7 new ramp pairs with more expected in the future, increased container availability, and optimized service schedules designed specifically to meet the needs of non-asset IMCs.

*"Asset-light" IMCs refers to Intermodal Marketing Companies that primarily rely on the equipment (containers) and services of partner railroads.
