UNM Regents announce campus visit schedule for presidential finalists

In anticipation of an announcement by The University of New Mexico Board of Regents of the finalists in the search for the 24th president of The University, UNM is sharing the dates and times of finalist visits in advance to encourage participation of faculty, staff, students, alumni and community members.

The Board of Regents expects to announce the finalists in the coming days, including specific information about each finalist-including names, biographies, and CVs.

Campus visit schedule

Faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community members will have the opportunity to engage with each finalist during open forums on campus. The scheduled dates for these visits are:

• Finalist 1: Monday, April 20, 10:30 - 11:45 a.m., SUB Ballroom C
• Finalist 2: Tuesday, April 21, 1:15 - 2:30 p.m., SUB Ballroom C
• Finalist 3: Monday, May 11, 1:15 - 2:30 p.m., SUB Ballroom C
• Finalist 4: Tuesday, May 12, 1:15 - 2:30 p.m., SUB Ballroom C
• Finalist 5: Wednesday May 13, 1:15 - 2:30 p.m., SUB Ballroom C

Opportunities for engagement

An opportunity for virtual participation will be available for those unable to attend in person.

Community feedback is a critical part of the process. Surveys will be available following each candidate's visit. Additional details and links will be available on the Presidential Search website.

The Board of Regents will make a final hiring decision after the campus visits are complete.
