Cordel first in Norway to integrate with Sinec Byggsøk

Cordel is the first digital solution in Norway to integrate with Sinec Byggsøk. The new integration enables users to manage building permit applications as an integrated part of their projects, without having to switch between separate systems.

Sinec Byggsøk is a digital solution for building permit applications developed by Sinec Systems in collaboration with Rørentreprenørene Norge. Through the integration, users can initiate a building permit application directly from a project order in Cordel. Relevant information and documentation can be retrieved from the project, while completed application documents are returned to the same place.

Building permit applications are often handled outside a company's project management and administration system. This can lead to duplicate data entry, manual transfers of information and more systems to manage.

With the new integration, building permit applications become a natural part of the workflow in Cordel. This gives businesses a better overview and reduces the need for manual processes.

For Arild Brekke, Managing Director of Brekke Sanitær, the integration has made it possible to manage building permit applications internally instead of relying on an external consultant.

"The most important thing is that we can now handle this in-house again," says Arild Brekke.

He particularly highlights that the application is connected directly to the project order in Cordel. This means that information and documentation can be kept in one place, helping to save both time and money. The usage-based pricing model also makes costs more predictable.

Brekke also values being able to manage more of the company's workflows within the same solution.

"I now have the entire process, including accounting, in Cordel," says Brekke.

He adds that the company's experience with the building permit feature has been positive so far.

The integration expands Cordel's functionality and enables trades businesses to manage more administrative tasks within one digital solution.
