City to Host Bingham Park Remediation Community Meetings

The City of Greensboro's Parks and Recreation Department and Office of Sustainability & Resilience will host two additional community meetings regarding the Bingham Park remediation project.

One meeting will take place at 6 pm on Thursday, March 5, at the Simkins Indoor Sports Pavilion, 1500 Barber Park Dr. The next meeting is at 6 pm on Monday, March 16, at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 306 S. English St.

The meetings will review the Remedial Action Work Plan for Bingham Park and the former Hampton School site. The plan is under review by the NC Department of Environmental Quality, which will also conduct a community meeting at a later date.
