Family Preparedness Workshop & Resource Fair

Join Supervisor Doug Chaffee, Chair of the Orange County Board of Supervisors, the Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs (OIRA), Asian Americans Advancing Justice Southern California (AJSOCAL), and local community partners for a day of connection, support and resources!

This is a safe and free event for all residents!

At the Family Preparedness Workshop & Resource Fair residents can:

Connect with county departments and local community organizations offering food, health, housing, legal, and other essential resources.

Attend the Family Preparedness Workshop- a special presentation by CAIR and Immigrant Defenders focused on understanding your civil rights and preparing for immigration-related emergencies.

Receive free legal consultations by AJSOCAL and connect with additional legal and civil rights organizations who will be on-site to provide information, resources, and support.

Access a variety of services with OC Clerk-Recorder including vital records and marriage licenses.

Receive bags of food and grocery gift cards for Thanksgiving while supplies last.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own carts or wagons to make transporting food easier.

Enjoy fun and creative art activities for children, families, and community members of all ages!

Come connect with community organizations, learn about your rights, access important services, and enjoy activities for the whole family - all in one place!
