Ward Basin/Pelican Bayou Bridge FDOT SCOP Grant
The Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners approved a budget amendment 2026-025 to recognize SCOP Grant G3990 in the amount of $43,630 for County Road 89, Ward Basin Road, over Pelican Bayou Bridge.
Grant Application for SRIPE Phase 2
The Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners approved submitting for the Florida Commerce Job Growth Grant for Santa Rosa Industrial Park East (SRIPE) Phase 2 in the amount of $1.9 million. Authorize the chairman to sign all related documents for the completion of the application and award processes.
East Bay River Nature Preserve Designation and Management Plan Adoption
The Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners approved the name East Bay River Nature Preserve (formerly known as Creets Landing); adoption of the Land Management Plan to fulfill all grant requirements for conservation land acquired in 2023; and approval to initiate the process of rezoning the property from R1 (single-family residential) and PUD (planned unit development) to P1 (passive recreation) to align the zoning with the site's long-term preservation goals.
FY 2026 Districts 1, 2, and 3 Resurfacing List
The Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners approved the recommended resurfacing list for Districts 1, 2, and 3.
FY 2026 Sidewalk Construction List
The Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners approved the following FY2026 sidewalk construction list:
- Chumuckla Hwy (Joppa Rd. to School)
- College Parkway (East Side, Hwy 98 to Duke Dr.)
- Henry St. (Bagdad Millsite Park to 4916)
