With post-storm recovery efforts in full swing, the City of Tampa, in partnership with Hillsborough County and the Florida Department of Emergency Management, has activated two Comfort Stations to assist residents affected by Hurricane Helene.

Located at Desoto Park (2617 Corrine St) and Marjorie Park (97 Columbia Dr), the Comfort Stations offer free food, water, ice, showers, restrooms, charging stations for cell phones and other electronic devices, laundry assistance, and a pop-up permit center for expedited permit review for select permits and inspections related to storm damage repair.

The Comfort Stations opened Monday at 7:00 A.M. and will close at 7:00 P.M. They will follow the same schedule until further notice. For more storm-related resources and information, please visit tampa.gov/hurricane.
