BSF Named Litigation Department of the Year by the New York Law Journal

The firm has been named Litigation Department of the Year by the New York Law Journal at the 2026 New York Legal Awards, recognizing the firm as New York's leading litigation practice for its outstanding trial and appellate work, landmark victories, and continued success handling some of the most significant disputes in the country.

Highlights from this past year include a landmark jury verdict awarding 98 million Google users $425.7 million in a privacy action against Google, the largest damages figure ever awarded to plaintiffs in such a case, and a unanimous $39 million jury verdict for clients Christopher Parker and Red Mango Enterprises Ltd. in a closely watched dispute that raised the question of whether text messages can create enforceable contracts worth tens of millions of dollars. The firm also secured a retrial verdict worth more than $52 million, plus more than $50 million in prejudgment interest, against Felix Sater in a case tied to BTA Bank's global effort to recover billions siphoned through shell companies and bogus loans.
