Rep. Lynn Smith Recognized by Governor Brian Kemp for Service in the Georgia House of Representatives

ATLANTA - State Representative Lynn Smith (R-Newnan), chair of the House Natural Resources and Environment Committee, was recently recognized by Governor Brian Kemp with a commendation honoring her decades of service in the Georgia House of Representatives.

"Serving the people of Georgia has truly been the honor of a lifetime," said Rep. Smith. "For nearly three decades, I have had the privilege of representing the communities of Coweta and Carroll counties, and earlier in my tenure, I also represented Heard County alongside Coweta County for approximately 10 years. Throughout my time in the Georgia House, I have had the opportunity to work alongside dedicated colleagues to move our state forward. I want to thank Governor Kemp for his leadership and dedication to the State of Georgia, and I am incredibly proud of the work we have done to protect Georgia's natural resources. I am deeply grateful to my constituents for their trust and support and to my family for their encouragement throughout my years of service."
