FULLERTON, CA :: On Saturday, December 13, 2025, Hope International University celebrated its 117th Commencement Ceremony in the Darling Pavilion of the Lawson-Fulton Student Center. Undergraduate degrees, Graduate degrees, and Spanish Track Certificates were conferred on students who successfully completed their course of study. An enthusiastic audience of loved ones and supporters joined with HIU faculty, staff, administration, and trustees to witness and congratulate the graduates on their academic achievement.
Will Mullins delivered an inspiring Commencement Address, encouraging the graduating class to continually prioritize purpose, perseverance, and people throughout their lives and careers. Mullins has served on HIU's Board of Trustees for seven years, including the past five as Chairman. He is the Business Manager for Rizio Lipinsky Heiting, PC, one of California's premier personal injury and employment law firms.
Three graduating students shared reflections on their HIU journey: Brianna Clovery (traditional undergraduate), Crystal Gonzalez (online undergraduate), and John Armendariz (graduate studies). Each expressed deep gratitude and appreciation for the loving support and grace they received throughout their HIU experience.
Founded in 1928, the University moved to the Fullerton campus in 1973. HIU maintains a diligent commitment to its mission of empowering students through Christian Higher Education to serve the Church and impact the world for Christ. The Fall 2025 graduates join thousands of HIU alumni around the globe who embody our ongoing legacy of servant leadership and the priesthood of all believers.
