Community Connect Expo Set to Provide Gilbert Residents With Essential Resources

Gilbert, Ariz.- The Town of Gilbert's Community Resources team is launching a new community event designed to bring together 50 local nonprofits, Gilbert and Higley public schools, town departments, and human service providers to connect residents with essential resources. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore services related to housing, mental health, employment support, recreation programs, school initiatives, financial assistance, education, and more.

The Community Connect Expo is more than a community showcase, it's a vibrant volunteer expo and celebration of Gilbert Kindness. Residents will have the opportunity to explore impactful programs and discover volunteer opportunities that empower them to make a meaningful difference in the town they call home.

The event will take place on Saturday, February 7 from 9 AM to 12 PM at HD South, 10 S. Gilbert Road. Please use the GPS-marked lot east of HD South.

The event will feature a kid zone, yard games, and music, creating a welcoming environment for families. Prize giveaways throughout the morning will add an extra layer of fun for attendees exploring the wide range of programs and services available. Big Frog Custom T-Shirts will be on-site selling Gilbert merchandise, with all proceeds benefiting our Neighbor 2 Neighbor Program. The program funds local nonprofits that support families, children, and the elderly in Gilbert.
