The USDA's report revealed a higher-than-expected national average corn yield at 186 bushels per acre and corn ending stocks above estimates at 2.154 billion bushels, while soybean yield was slightly below estimates at 53 bushels per acre and ending stocks came in below expectations at 290,000 bushels.
