WASHINGTON, DC - Today, Senator Angela Alsobrooks (D-Md.) released the following statement after news broke that RFK fired all 17 members of CDC's Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices:
"RFK continues to push his own quackery at the expense of science and public health. Republicans stated unequivocally that RFK promised to 'maintain the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices without changes.' Clearly, he lied. These constant firings are going to have a real impact on the health of so many Americans. It's time for RFK to resign or be fired. We are sick of it."
