Denton residents who contact Denton 311 will now have the option to receive real-time text updates regarding their service requests. Residents will also be able to set waste reminders through the Denton 311 app, notifying them when to set out trash and recycling carts and alerting them of any collection delays due to holidays or severe weather.
Denton 311 was launched in April 2025 as part of a citywide initiative to enhance customer service delivery by simplifying how residents get assistance with non-emergency, city-related questions and service requests.
