Program for Improving Neighborhoods (PIN) grants available: apply now!

The deadline to apply for the Program for Improving Neighborhoods (PIN) Grant is fast approaching, so send your ideas on projects that can help improve your neighborhood soon!

Project Proposals must be submitted by Monday, March 23, 2026. Grant awards will be announced in June. The form can be found on our website.

What is a PIN Grant?

The Program for Improving Neighborhoods (PIN) Grant helps bring neighborhood ideas to life by providing funding for projects that connect neighbors, strengthen community ties, and spark local pride. From creative placemaking to community events and improvements, the grant supports initiatives shaped by neighborhood voices, built through collaboration, and aligned with the City's Strategic Plan. Each recognized Neighborhood Association may apply for up to $3,000 in funding.

What is the Project Proposal?

The first step in the grant process is submitting the general Project Proposal. This proposal provides a snapshot of your idea, highlighting the project's potential community impact and the key goals you aim to achieve. Applicants are not expected to have every detail finalized at this stage, but the proposal should include enough information to demonstrate alignment with PIN Grant requirements.

Who Can Apply?

Recognized Neighborhood Associations are encouraged to apply through their official leadership. The City also welcomes proposals from emerging or up-and-coming associations through the Pilot Program, offering an opportunity to turn new ideas into meaningful neighborhood projects.
