Santa Rosa is offering surplus City-owned properties for purchase! Santa Rosa City Council declared several City owned properties "exempt surplus property" as per the Surplus Lands Act. These parcels are left over from prior Capital Improvement Projects and no longer have a public use. On their own these parcels are considered unbuildable and not suitable for development.
The following exempt surplus properties have been offered to adjacent property owners only for purchase through a surplus auction which will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025. All eligible property owners have been notified*. The City plans to continue to review the properties in its ownership and identify property for surplus action.
