Boards, Commissions, and Committees: Strengthening Community Voice

Please join us in welcoming Blongshia (pronounced Blong shuh) Lindsay, who became part of the City's Legislative Services team on March 30, 2026, as the Boards and Commissions Program Administrator. She was selected through a competitive process that included nearly 100 applicants and interviews conducted by Legislative Services and Council Leadership.

Blongshia brings 12 years of federal public service experience, most recently with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service here in Colorado Springs. Her background includes managing programs, contracts, and complex projects, as well as working closely with partner organizations and stakeholders. Her experience in program administration, partnership development, and project management will support the continued growth and effectiveness of the Boards and Commissions program.
