The George Washington University community celebrated the Lunar New Year, the Year of the Snake, with events on the Foggy Bottom and Mount Vernon campuses this week. The events featured lion dances, traditional food and giveaways. The events were sponsored by the GW Division for Student Affairs and the GW Asian Studies community. Another celebration hosted by the Chinese American Student Association and the Vietnamese Student Association is at 6 p.m. Friday in the University Student Center Continental Ballroom.
