BMLL wins ‘World's Best Market Data Provider’ at the Euromoney Markets Awards 2026

London / New York, 16 October: We are delighted to announce that BMLL has been awarded 'World's Best Market Data Provider' at the Euromoney Markets Awards 2026. These awards recognise organisations shaping the future of global markets.

BMLL won 'World's Best Market Data Provider' for the second consecutive year for its continued expansion and global growth over the last year, which has been accelerated by the acquisition by Nordic Capital in October 2025.

BMLL has spent the last 12 months working intensely with capital market participants to drive global data and analytics innovation. By collaborating closely with the industry, BMLL has developed pioneering datasets that combine high-fidelity, historical market data with sophisticated third-party data and analytics to launch entirely new ways to benchmark and optimise trading strategies, manage risk, and navigate a rapidly evolving market microstructure.

Last year, BMLL significantly expanded its global footprint, and today covers more than 140 trading venues, spanning global equities, ETFs, futures, US equity options, and prediction markets; its equities offering covers 100% of the MSCI World Index. BMLL also added more than 30 datasets across EMEA, APAC, and the Americas.

To elevate market data standards globally, BMLL launched its Client Product Advisory Board (CPAB) in February 2025 to raise the standard of market data globally. Members include Five Rings, Berenberg, Kepler Cheuvreux, Norges Bank Investment Management, Optiver, Rothschild & Co, State Street Global Advisors, and Stifel.

In September 2025, BMLL launched Trades Plus, an industry-first dataset developed in close consultation with its CPAB. Trades Plus completely removes this operational burden of data engineering by combining granular historical trade data with BMLL's Level 3 insights, proprietary trade classifications, Level 1 quotes, and custom flags in a single feed.

What's more, through its pioneering 'BMLL Activate - Data Credits Programme', BMLL is empowering innovators to build, test, validate and launch new analytics or data-driven products using BMLL's historical Level 3, 2, and 1 market data with low to zero upfront licensing costs.

Paul Humphrey, Chief Executive Officer, BMLL, said: "Winning the Euromoney Markets Award is an outstanding recognition of the dedication and expertise of everyone at BMLL. It reflects the rapid acceleration of our business as we expand both our market coverage and client portfolio globally. Looking ahead, we remain committed to advancing collaborative product innovation, ensuring that institutions across the capital markets ecosystem can fully leverage the power of high-fidelity, harmonised historical data."

BMLL is deeply trusted by both the largest, most sophisticated trading firms and capital market innovators looking to bring new products to market.
