Energy Facility Siting Council to Meet August 20-21

SALEM - The next regularly scheduled meeting of Oregon's Energy Facility Siting Council will be held on Thursday and Friday, August 20-21, 2026. Attendance will be open to the public both in person and virtually using Microsoft Teams. • Klamath Cogeneration Project Amendment 6 - Proposed Order

• 2026 Carbon Dioxide Emissions Offset Rate Rulemaking

• Compliance Rulemaking

Radioactive Material Transport Fee Rulemaking (Action Item) - Tom Jackman, Siting Policy Analyst & Rules Coordinator, will present final draft rules and all submitted comments for consideration by Council. This rulemaking is intended to change the fees paid by carriers for certain placarded shipments that support training for first responders and other emergency response personnel along radioactive material transportation routes.

Yellow Rosebush Energy Center - Review of the Proposed Order on ASC, Proposed Contested Case Order, Exceptions Hearing, and Possible Material Change Hearing (ORS 469.370(7)); Possible Final Order Adoption (Information Item & Possible Action Item) - Kate Sloan, Oregon Department of Energy Senior Siting Analyst & Jesse Ratcliffe, Oregon Department of Justice Senior Assistant Attorney General, Natural Resources Section, General Counsel Division. The proposed facility includes 800 MWs of solar photovoltaic power generation components within a site boundary of 8,075 acres in Wasco and Sherman counties, approximately 9 miles east of the City of Maupin. The parent company is Savion, LLC.
