International Coffee Hour: GCSU Spanish Club celebrates Earth Day
World Languages & Cultures, Department of Monday April 21, 2025
The campus community is invited to join the Department of World Languages & Cultures for the final International Coffee Hour of the semester. This month, the Georgia College & State University Spanish Club will be celebrating Earth Day with a variety of games and activities that highlight vocabulary in other languages related to sustainability and recycling as well as information about how various Latin American countries embrace the importance of taking care of the planet. Snacks and Blackbird drinks will be provided (while supplies last), so stop by the A&S Courtyard between April 23, between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. (*Rain location, if needed, will be the Beeson Hall, third floor lounge. Follow @gcsuwlc on Instagram in case weather updates need to be posted before the event.)
