The cyclist killed in a crash in the Hazelwood Neighborhood on October 29, 2025, has been identified as 55-year-old Felipe Barajas-Nolazco.
Based on the initial findings, the bicyclist was traveling westbound in the bike lane when he collided with a passing vehicle also traveling westbound. Investigators have determined that the driver's actions did not contribute to the collision, and the driver is not expected to face citations.

Cyclist Killed in Crash in Hazelwood Neighborhood
On Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 6:21 p.m., Portland Fire & Rescue and Portland Police officers from East Precinct responded to a crash in the Hazelwood Neighborhood. The crash involved a vehicle and a bicyclist in the 11200 block of Northeast Glisan Street.
At approximately 6:25 p.m., medical personnel arrived and provided emergency care, but the bicyclist was later pronounced deceased.
The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
The Portland Police Traffic Division's Major Crash Team responded to investigate. Northeast Glisan Street is closed in both directions between Northeast 110th Avenue and Northeast 113th Avenue during the investigation.
