Publication of the Proceedings from the 9th Joint Bank for International Settlements, World Bank, Monetary Authority of Singapore, and Banca d’Italia Public Investors Conference

Washington, DC - November 4, 2025 - The World Bank announced the release of the publication Evolving Practices in Public Investment Management: Proceedings of the Ninth Public Investors Conference. The conference was held on September 12-13, 2024, at the headquarters of the Monetary Authority of Singapore. The publication features peer-reviewed papers by academics and professionals in the field of portfolio and risk management, specifically for central banks, sovereign wealth funds, and public pension plans.

The World Bank Reserve Advisory & Management Partnership (RAMP) has been a trusted partner of the Public Investors Conference. This publication continues RAMP's mission to strengthen public asset management globally and advance knowledge sharing across the official sector investment community.

Since 2008, the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) and the World Bank, in cooperation with cosponsoring central banks, have organized the biennial Public Investors Conference to discuss policy issues, quantitative methods, and evolving challenges for public investors worldwide.

The Ninth Public Investors Conference, co-hosted by the BIS, the World Bank, the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), and the Banca d'Italia, brought together more than 50 participants to explore key issues shaping the future of public investment management.
