Families receive health screenings, school supplies at Red Bird Mission event

Families gathered for a day of health, education and fun during the Red Bird Mission Summer Family Fun Event. More than 250 people attended, including over 100 children.

AdventHealth team members provided free health screenings and health education to help families learn more about their well-being. Children also received back-to-school supplies to help them prepare for the upcoming school year.

Throughout the event, families connected with local organizations and received self-help program information, hygiene supplies, outdoor games, giveaways and other helpful resources.

The event was made possible through the collaboration of participating agencies, community partners and private donors.

ASAP, Delta Dental, God's Pantry Food Bank and Soles4Souls supported family activities and provided snacks, drinks, shoes, socks, backpacks filled with school supplies and gift cards for school clothing.

AdventHealth appreciates everyone who volunteered, donated resources and represented their organizations during the event. Through this shared commitment, families received practical support while enjoying a meaningful day together.
