Coventry City Council is proud to stand with organisations across the UK in support of Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Awareness Week 2026.
It is a national campaign running from 29 June to 5 July 2026, which shines a spotlight on the impact of anti-social behaviour (ASB) and promotes safer communities.
Led by Resolve, the UK's leading community safety partner on ASB, the week is backed by Resolve members, HM Government, the Local Government Association, and national partners including the National Police Chiefs' Council, National Fire Chiefs' Council, Historic England, Neighbourhood Watch, the Premier League Charitable Fund, the Association of Police and Crime Commissioners and others.
Now in its sixth year, ASB Awareness Week comes at a critical moment.
New research from YouGov, commissioned by Resolve in April 2026, shows that ASB is both widespread and worsening, with over half of UK adults having experienced or witnessed ASB in the last three years, and six in ten saying more needs to be done to tackle it.
Coventry City Council is marking ASB Awareness Week 2026 by working with partners across the city to tackle anti-social behaviour, support victims and raise awareness of the help available.
Activities throughout the week will include a multi-agency webinar with West Midlands Police and local housing providers to discuss new legislation, emerging challenges and opportunities for closer partnership working, alongside the launch of a new quarterly ASB Forum.
Joint enforcement and engagement activity will take place in ASB hotspot locations, while outreach work with public health will focus on prevention and early intervention.
The Council will also promote reporting routes and the Anti-Social Behaviour Case Review process, helping residents understand how to report concerns and seek support where anti-social behaviour is affecting their quality of life.
The YouGov research also shows a clear public appetite for action:
Councillor John McNicholas, Cabinet Member for Community Safety and Cohesion, said: "We are committed to supporting ASB Awareness Week 2026. Anti-social behaviour is a significant issue as it affects people's sense of safety, their mental health and, for some, their ability to stay in their home.
"ASB Awareness Week is an important opportunity to raise awareness, support victims and make sure people know where to turn for help."

Rebecca Bryant, Chief Executive of Resolve, added: "ASB Awareness Week is an important campaign with a national message where frontline practitioners come together helping to bring awareness to anti-social behaviour being a major concern for communities.
"It is a deeply disruptive issue that affects how safe people feel, their wellbeing and, for some, whether they can remain in their home. ASB Awareness Week is about raising awareness, improving confidence in reporting and strengthening the partnerships needed to respond effectively. We are delighted that Coventry City Council is supporting this vital campaign."
If you are affected by anti-social behaviour, you can report it to your local council's ASB team, your housing provider, or the police if you are in immediate danger. You do not have to live with ASB and help and support are available.
