Swisscom myAI: secure and straightforward artificial intelligence made in Switzerland

myAI is Swisscom's brand-new AI assistant, developed in Switzerland for Switzerland and available to use free of charge until the end of 2025. Offering features ranging from text generation and data analysis to creative apps like image generation, myAI has been designed with the Swiss public in mind and, as such, meets rigorous data protection and transparency requirements.

Artificial intelligence is playing an increasing role in our professional and private lives. Whether we need help with writing content, structuring information or creating visual aids, it has become a useful tool in a range of settings, professional or otherwise. Many international providers, however, are unable to cater to local requirements, which is precisely where Swisscom's myAI comes in. Developed in Switzerland, the myAI chatbot has been designed to meet the highest standards of user data protection.

Swissness makes all the difference

In contrast to international platforms, Swisscom guarantees that user data will not be used for profiling, third-party processing or to train LLMs. Data is processed on the AWS (Amazon Web Services) infrastructure while remaining entirely under Swisscom's control. When developing myAI, Swisscom's ambition was to create a digital companion that would make day-to-day life easier - for anyone who values ease of use, transparency and a clear anchoring in Switzerland.

Dirk Wierzbitzki, Head of Residential Customers and member of the Executive Committee for Swisscom Switzerland, explains: "myAI is our vision of how AI should be: trustworthy, understandable and customer focused. In line with our call to 'Discover your possibilities', we are combining innovation and trust, and taking responsibility for a secure digital future."

Besides ensuring the highest levels of data protection, Swisscom did not want its customers to have to set up yet another login with a largely unknown provider. Accessing myAI couldn't be simpler and, if the Pro model is used, even the billing process is impressively straightforward via the Swisscom bill.

Underlying technology

myAI is hosted on AWS and uses the Anthropics Claude Sonnet 4 hybrid reasoning model, a cloud service provided by AWS Bedrock. The model supports text and image processing and has a vast processing capacity, enabling the analysis of extensive documents and codebases. Swisscom also continually checks other models for future integration into myAI.

Pricing model and outlook

The Pro version of myAI can be trialled for free until the end of the year and costs CHF 14.90 per month from 2026. The basic version will remain free of charge. Swisscom intends to keep expanding myAI in close alignment with the needs of Swiss users. Additional partnerships with Swiss partners are also planned.
