Springfield IL…State Representative Mike Coffey (R-Springfield) has partnered with HSHS St. John's Children's Hospital to help bring comfort to children who are currently in the hospital's care. From March 4th until April 3rd, Rep. Coffey's district office will be collecting new stuffed animals and blankets to donate to children recovering from serious illness or injury. The donations will support the Comfort for Kids Drive, and initiative of the HSHS St. John's Foundation.

"HSHS St. John's Children's Hospital provides outstanding care and services to children from across the state, and the Comfort for Kids Drive brings the community together to help bring happiness to children in care at the hospital," said Coffey. "I want my constituents to know every donation of a stuffed animal or blanket will bring a smile to a child's face - and that is our goal. If you would like to participate in the Comfort for Kids Drive, please drop-off items to my district office in Springfield."

Constituents in the 95th District are encouraged to participate in this important community effort to bring joy and comfort to children during difficult times.
