The Christ Hospital Named as one of America’s Best Physical Rehab Centers

CINCINNATI (September 2, 2026) - The Christ Hospital has been named one of America's Best Physical Rehab Centers for 2026 by Newsweek. The complete list can be found on Newsweek's website. The Christ Hospital was one of just 15 networks in the state of Ohio.

This ranking highlights 330 leading inpatient rehabilitation facilities evaluated across clinical quality, professional reputation, quality designations and patient experience. More than half of each score is based on risk-standardized quality measures from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, High-quality physical rehabilitation, provided by these networks, are key to healthy recovery of patients in the region.

"Our entire physical therapy and rehab team made this possible. They work closely with our patients and family members to design a comprehensive therapy plan that's goal-based and unique to their needs."

This year's rankings are based on four pillars:

  • Quality metrics datafor IRFs published by CMS.
  • Patient experiencederived from Google Reviews as a proxy.
  • Quality designations for physical rehabilitation centers provided by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and the Model Systems Knowledge Translation Center (MSKTC) program.
  • National online survey from April to June 2026, an online survey among experts with knowledge of physical rehabilitation centers was conducted in cooperation with Newsweek.
