The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has issued an urgent safety warning, advising consumers to immediately stop using lithium-ion batteries for Rad Power Bikes e-bike models RP-1304 and HL-RP-S1304. These batteries should be removed from the e-bikeand disposed of through approved hazardous waste disposal channels. Please refer to Rad Power Bikes' safety information and instructions on proper removal of the affected batteries.
Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Facilities are closed for the holiday weekend; however, several disposal options are available, and additional opportunities are being coordinated. Updates will be provided on this page of the IWMA website.

HHW Facilities Reopen Following Thanksgiving Break
Beginning December 5, residents may bring affected batteries to the following Household Hazardous Waste Facilities at no cost;
