On July 14, during his working visit to Belgrade, Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian was received by Tamara Rastovac Siamashvili, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the current stage of Armenia-Serbia bilateral relations. They emphasized the importance of maintaining high-level political dialogue and enhancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest. Referring to recent regional developments, the Ambassador presented Armenia's ongoing efforts and initiatives aimed at advancing the peace agenda, highlighting in particular the urgency of signing a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan as a cornerstone for ensuring stability and cooperation in the region.

Ambassador Hovakimian also met with Branko Radovanović, Head of the Diplomatic Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia.

Later that day, upon the invitation of Mayor Boban Đurović, the Ambassador took part in the events dedicated to the Municipality Day of Vrnjačka Banja.
