Groen Joins Iowa Bankers Compliance Committee

Spencer, IA - Amy Groen, Compliance Officer, VP of Northwest Bank, Spencer, IA has been named to the Iowa Bankers Association's (IBA) Compliance Committee. Groen's responsibilities as a committee member will include providing comments and feedback on state and federal regulatory initiatives, and recommending programs and products that enable banks to better manage their compliance needs.

Amy has been a valued member of the Northwest Bank team for five years and brings over 11 years of experience in compliance. She holds the prestigious Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) designation through the American Bankers Association (ABA), highlighting her deep expertise in the field.

At Northwest Bank, Amy oversees the Compliance Management Program, with a primary focus on lending compliance oversight and regulatory risk management. Her leadership and attention to detail have been instrumental in ensuring the bank's adherence to evolving regulations while supporting its commitment to delivering high-quality service to customers and communities.
