Undersheriff Bryan Harrell will be the agency's second in command. Harrell grew up in Southern Arizona as the son of a longtime Tucson police officer. He started his own law enforcement career in 1996 with the Chandler Police Department. He also served as a Mesa police officer and Arizona State Capitol police officer before joining PCSO in 2001.
Deputy Chief Gilberto "Gil" Hoyos is the new commander of the Pinal County Adult Detention Center. He was born in Tucson and raised in Florence. He started his law enforcement career as a detention officer in 1996. He is the first Deputy Chief of the jail to come from an internal promotion in 24 years.
Deputy Chief Jason Villegas is the new commander over the sworn deputies of PCSO. He was born in Chandler and raised in Pinal County. He started his career at PCSO as a detention officer in 1997. He has spent his entire law enforcement career at PCSO. He's been with his wife for 26 years, and they have 4 adult children.
