Let ICE Do Its Job

Let ICE Do Its Job

October 3, 2025

Illinois' sanctuary state policies have created an environment where law-abiding families are left vulnerable, and violent offenders slip through the cracks. Time and again, dangerous individuals who should never have been on our streets have been allowed to remain free, with devastating consequences. These tragedies are not isolated incidents, they are the direct result of failed leadership and reckless policies that put politics ahead of public safety. Leaders in Illinois should allow ICE to do their jobs.

Past Crimes

Illinois' sanctuary state policies have had devastating, real-world consequences, leaving dangerous illegal aliens on the streets and innocent families shattered.

Katie Abraham & Chloe Polzin - January 2025

Megan Bos - April 2025
Police discovered the body of Megan Bos buried in the yard of Luis Mendoza-Gonzalez, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico. After being charged with this horrific crime, he was granted pre-trial release. ICE had to step in and arrest him, another example of Illinois leaders failing to keep dangerous offenders behind bars.

Arresting the Worst Offenders

Operation Midway Blitz has removed some of the worst, most dangerous illegal aliens from Chicago's streets, the very people Governor Pritzker seems so upset that are being arrested. These arrests are saving lives and preventing future tragedies.

These arrests include:

Marcelino Ramos CrusAn illegal alien from Mexico arrested of DUI, resisting a police officer, and vehicular burglary.

Bernardino Perez-ArrevillagaAn illegal alien from Mexico who is a registered sex offender convicted of aggravated sexual assault victim 13-17, and a sex offender registration violation.

Juan ArmentaAn illegal alien from Mexico arrested for armed robbery and DUI.

Governor Pritzker and Mayor Brandon Johnson are Waging War on Law Enforcement

Governor JB Pritzker has spent the past year pouring fuel on the fire with his reckless rhetoric.

In March 2025, he declared: "What we really need is to become street fighters."

Just weeks later in April, he doubled down, saying: "Never before in my life have I called for mass protests, for mobilization, for disruption - but I am now."

In September of this year, Mayor Brandon Johnson called law enforcement a "sickness."

And just this week, Governor Pritzker claimed there were 'peaceful protests' at the Broadview ICE facility, but that couldn't be further from the truth.

And extremists heard them. Anti-ICE demonstrators have repeatedly targeted ICE's Broadview facility, escalating from protests to violent threats. In one recent incident, protestors called to "shoot ICE," and law enforcement recovered two firearms and an explosive device from the scene.

"Chants of Shoot ICE"

The people of Illinois deserve better than leaders who side with criminals over communities. Every family should feel safe knowing the law will be enforced and violent offenders will be held accountable. It's time to end the reckless sanctuary policies that are endangering our neighborhoods and stand with law enforcement in their mission to protect innocent lives. If Governor Pritzker and Mayor Johnson won't take that responsibility seriously, then the federal government must step up and help.
